I believe the "secret" to successful marketing is understanding how to strategically, uniquely, and creatively position companies, brands, and products using an integrated approach to traditional, digital, social, and even guerilla marketing (old term, but often still a useful tactic). The ability to identify and convey your unique position and compelling brand story was shaped by my degree in Journalism and time spent at globally prominent Manning, Selvage & Lee (now MSLGROUP). Followed by years in-house at Sony, I was able to merge research, strategy, and creative execution into a process that delivers results for clients with budgets both large and small.
I have worked on high-profile efforts for Nike, Mattel, Champion, Mitsubishi, and Nestle as well as managed relationships with athletes, celebrities, and key licensing partners including PlayStation, Microsoft, Nintendo, and the major sports leagues and players associations. As a VP of Marketing, I was responsible for the US and Europe, and launched more than 20 products annually, each requiring comprehensive marketing plans.
